Summary of Facts:
Plaintiff A.B.S., a two-year-old male, was reportedly bit by a dog owned by an individual who was insured by defendant Germantown Mutual Insurance Company.

The plaintiff said he suffered two lacerations on his right cheek and a puncture wound posterior to the lacerations that resulted in permanent scarring, thereby causing the plaintiff to incur medical expenses.

The parties agreed to resolve the plaintiff's claims arising from the dog bite incident in exchange for the defendant's payment of $500,000, and sought court approval of the settlement.

The court approved the settlement terms.
